The Peaks and The Beacons
Register now for the ultimate endurance challenge that will push you to your limits! ‘The Peaks’ and ‘The Beacons’ is growing bigger and better every year. Both treks will test your limits and are life changing experiences that will uncover strengths that you never knew you had! Choose between a 50km or 25km trek and sign up now!
The Beacons (3-4th June 2017)
The Brecon Beacons National Park is a mountain range that runs through the centre of South Wales, renowned for its inspiring and open scenery. It is also the training ground of the SAS, so as you can imagine the routes will provide you with testing climbs, steep descents and challenging terrain! Both routes will summit one of the highest peaks in South Wales, the famous Pen Y Fan (886m), it will be a challenging adventure but once you make it to the top you will discover sensational views of the Brecon Beacons, with its rolling mountains and hills, stretching as far as the eye can see.
The Peaks (2-3rd September 2017)
The Peak District is home to stunning scenery and more than lives up to its reputation as one of Britain’s most inspiring National Parks. Both routes start in the beautiful Hope Valley – the heart of the Peak District home to picturesque and ancient landscapes. The 25km route encompasses part of the enchanting Ladybower reservoir and the 50km route summits Kinder Scout – a moorland plateau that at 636m (2,087ft) is the highest point in the Peak District, Derbyshire and the East Midlands!

£45 registration fee + £165 minimum sponsorship per person

£60 registration fee + £300 minimum sponsorship per person

(50% of the fundraising target must be received by the hospice no later than 6 weeks prior to the challenge.)
Alternatively you can choose to Self-Fund your trek so that any sponsorship raised comes straight to the hospice:
25km – £45 registration fee + £50 = Total Cost £95 per person
50km – £60 registration fee + £90 = Total Cost £150 per person
(Six weeks prior to the event an invoice will be sent to you for the relevant challenge balance shown above.)
