This venture was launched in 2011 and provides a unique and competitive service for those special occasions where catering is involved and pretty china is required but with the added bonus that all the proceeds from the business go to support the work of the Hospice.
All the vintage china has been donated and we are able to cater for up to 400 place settings for tea and up to 100 for lunch or dinner. So, whether you are planning a wedding, christening, special birthday or anniversary party or even a wake, we have just what you will need.
What is available to hire?
The range of items is very broad and includes tea cups, saucers, tea plates, tea pots, milk jugs, sugar bowls, tiered cake stands, comports, cake plates, serving platters, vegetable dishes, dinner plates, side plates, dessert bowls, coffee sets, cutlery and even includes ornamental tea pots for centre pieces for flowers and much more.
What makes the collection so distinctive?
Dating in the main from the 1960’s and 1970’s, this collection of bone china is not just a random selection of un-matching items but is made up of part and whole tea sets, many with matching milk jugs, sugar bowls and tea pots and of course there are many different colours to choose from.
This means that particular colour schemes can be catered for and tables can be made to look truly stunning with swathes of similar colours, but different patterns, on each one as the tea cups, saucers and tea plates match. In addition each table could be a different colour, for example pink, lilac, purple, green, blue, yellow, gold & white and so on.
Hire charges
Costs for hiring china are very competitive but will depend on volume but can be as little as £1.95 plus VAT per head per place setting. As each event is so different we provide individual quotations. Hiring Terms and Conditions will be provided with each quotation.
