Catering and housekeeping

Our team of dedicated catering staff are committed to providing home-cooked, nutritious food and menus are varied to meet the requests of patients. Our cooks are aware of the effects that some illnesses and treatments can have on patients’ taste buds and their ability to eat certain foods, so this is all taken into consideration when preparing suitable meals.

Meat and vegetables are supplied fresh from local companies to ensure a high standard of produce. If we haven’t got it in store, we’ll do our best to get it!

Meals are also available for visitors if ordered in advance.

We try to accommodate all dietary requirements, including gluten free, diabetic, vegetarian and pescetarian. Afternoon tea is served with a selection of our home-baked cakes.

For those relatives who stay overnight with loved ones, we can provide a light breakfast of cereal and toast. Orders are usually taken at suppertime and breakfast service finishes at 9am.

We can also provide a light snack at suppertime by arrangement with the Chef on duty. Supper orders should be placed by 4pm for 5pm service, the kitchen closes at 5.45pm.
