Catering
Our team of dedicated catering staff are committed to providing home cooked nutritious food and menus are varied to meet the requests of patients. Our cooks are aware of the effects that some illnesses and treatments can have on patients' tastebuds and their ability to eat certain foods, and this is all taken into consideration when preparing suitable meals.
Meat and vegetables are supplied fresh from local companies to ensure a high standard of produce. If we haven't got it in store, we'll do our best to get it (with some exceptions of course!). Meals are also available for visitors if ordered in advance.
Visitors are welcome to make tea, coffee and soft drinks in the refreshment area adjoining reception and can order sandwiches, jacket potatoes, soup or a hot meal for a small cost. We ask that should you wish to order a snack or main meal that you place your order with the cook between 11.30am - 1.30pm Prices are as follows:
- Sandwiches (freshly made) - �1.75
- Home made soup with bread and butter - �2.25
- Jacket potato with filling - �2.50
- Main meal - �4.00
- Main meal and pudding - �5.00
- Pudding - �1.00
Housekeeping
Our housekeeping team do a great job in keeping the building 'ship shape'. We meet the regulatory standards laid down for infection control and the housekeeping team are always available should anything be amiss and need clearing up quickly.
We also have an in-house laundry service for patients' clothing.
