Donate in memory
Thank you for choosing to make a donation in memory to St Peter & St James. We are extremely grateful for all donations received in memory and these are a vital part of our income.
Please select how you would like to make your donation from the options below:
Donations instead of flowers
It is becoming very popular to ask for donations to charity instead of flowers at funerals. Donations in memory are normally arranged by a funeral director who will collect donations and forward them to your chosen charity, normally 6 - 8 weeks after the funeral has taken place. If you would like to nominate St Peter & St James to receive donations from a loved one's funeral please speak to your funeral director or
contact the Fundraising Department. All donations received from funerals will be placed into your loved one's Memorial Fund.
Memorial Funds
Named after your loved one, a Memorial Fund is a valuable and positive way to celebrate their life whilst helping us to continue to help others in the future. The fund is set up as a lasting tribute to allow you to donate or raise money should you wish to do so. There are many different ways to donate. People may choose to
make a regular donation, or to donate on special anniversaries, whilst others may choose to arrange a
fundraising event.
Am I obliged to donate or raise funds?
No, all of our Hospice services are free of charge to patients and their loved ones. Memorial Funds are there should you wish to use them but there is absolutely no obligation or expectation to do so.
Is the Memorial Fund a separate charity?
No, all Memorial Funds are part of the St Peter & St James Charitable Trust and any funds raised will go towards patient care costs. Any cheque donations should still be made payable to 'St Peter & St James Charitable Trust'.
